I biked up the canyon near to Bridal Veil falls, and learned a couple things:
- Nice road bikes (aka-Felt) are much different that rentals.
- If you're not used to clipping into nice road bikes, screeching to a halt for wayward pedestrians is NOT fun.
- If riding a nice road bike, a simple cough can throw you off balance.
- The mountains are JUST as beautiful as I remember them!
- I have the same brand of helmet as Lance Armstrong (aka-Giro)
- Riding on the side of the road with speeding traffic is frightening- but you can get used to it.
- Ice and incredibly nice-road-bike-thin tires aren't compatible.
- ....I'm so EXCITED for summer!
